I WILL GLADLY MARRY & IMPREGNATE MY COUSIN
This is a long post that your short attention span will not allow you to read...if you have the attention span of an amoeba, scroll on.
Here are the reasons I would marry (and thoroughly/seriously impregnate) my cousins.
1. In the Holy Bible Abraham married his niece called Milcah in Gen 11:29, GOD ordered cousins to get married to each other in Numbers 36:1-11, cousins married in Joshua 15:16-17, Jacob married his two cousins Leah and Rebecca in Genesis 29:16-28... there are over 13 examples of cousin marriage in the Bible.
2. Marrying your cousin is not illegal in Kenya as per the Justice James Makau ruling on the Sexual Offences Act, click this link to read more on the ruling, https://www.the-star.co.ke/.../2016-08-11-no-law-allows.../ that protected cousin marriage prevalent among Kenyan-Arabs, Kenyan-Asians, and some Oromo and Somali clans.
Quick Facts:
In Sudan and Mauritania over 50% of marriages involve first cousins, 20%-50% in Nigeria, Guinea Conakry, and Burkina Faso.
Globally, over 60% of cousin marriages are in Muslim majority countries, with Saudi-Arabia and Pakistan having around 70% of marriages being consanguineous.
Concerns about Cousin Marriages:
Cousin marriage has a 7% risk of siring progeny with a disability and birth defects (this is double of the same happening in marriages involving unrelated persons). From this reasoning, the U.S. of A deems cousin marriages illegal in 70% of the states, they also banned cousin marriage in China, Philipines, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, and Bulgaria.
Conclusion:
If given a GreenLight by genetic testing, I would gladly marry my cousin. Would you marry your cousin? let's get interactive in the comments section.
