ACADEMICS AND CREATIVE ARTS WORK TOGETHER; REFLECTIONS FROM KENYA. Did/do you know that Nameless started off as a full-time singer. As he hit 30, he concentrated on architecture and maintained music as a lucrative side hustle; he has heavily invested in the real estate and tech industry. Frasha of P-unit used music as a launching pad into politics, he was working as a Physiotherapist with a specialization in pain management at Aga Khan University Hospital- the man has a diploma in orthopaedic Technology from KMTC and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the prestigious University of Lahore in Pakistan. Mong'are, KJ, and Chipukeezy started off as goofy comedians but now are in top corporate jobs and into politics. I recall the shock on Kenyans when they realised that the ashy-looking MCA Tricky was graduating from Kenyatta University with a second class upper division degree in Mechanical Engineering. ⅔ of Elani are advocates of the High Court and actually practising.   TO GET THE COVID JAB OR NOT? To be honest to God, I am on the fence regarding getting this COVID-19 jab, not because of any crazy mushroom-inspired conspiracy theories, but just from the simple fact that what I learned in school on vaccine development is not quite lining up with what we have now in syringes. The development of a vaccine takes years of trial-and-error studies in-vitro, and in vivo in Guinea pigs, in a select population of humans to look for ADE/ADRs, then and only then is it approved and deemed safe for the general population. I have my reservations on if the protocol was followed...but science is all about experimentation and trials, if we have to secure the future and ensure that life gets back to normal in the next 3 years, we must volunteer to have the vaccination to ensure we reach herd immunity levels- this will protect our children, pregnant women and the elderly who cannot receive the vaccine as it is. In conclusion, I will not tell you to receive nor to rejec

Fat Pig with no Dick( part one ): I am an unorthodox preacher and crazy scientist, the Bible backs me up in Proverbs 19:2 which says this “Desire without knowledge is not good.....", So in this age having the knowledge and information makes all the difference in living a productive and healthy life. It is my responsibility as a Health-worker to disseminate knowledge to help my people live healthier lives, as part of my 40th birthday, I will be biased and post topics on men's health...so my lady fans bear with me love you " A man's sexual organ is penis and a woman's sexual organ is brains."~DK Statistically, fat men have way smaller penises and lower testosterone levels than slimmer men, that is science and it is a reality, let's not get into a dick-measuring contest. There is an obvious link between belly fat, levels of testosterone and the size I.e. length/girth of a dick, and even duration and strength of an erection in men. This scientific fact inf
VISION AND FORESIGHT: INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS IN LIFE. As I am getting older, I'm constantly reflecting on my own life as seen the mistakes that I made as a young man, some of these mistakes are still haunting me even now and it is expensive and energy-sapping to reverse many of them..and probably will never reverse them in this lifetime. We make mistakes in life often because of ignorance of how life works. As a Christian, the Bible is full of wisdom and teaching of how one can avoid life's pitfalls...but we never read the Bible for ourselves, that is where the problem starts. "Therefore, it will be night (tragedy) for you without vision, And darkness (cataclysm) for you without foresight.."~Micah 3:6 AMP. Vision as a verb means "To imagine something as if it were to be true.", The same word as a noun means "A goal towards which one aspires." Foresight is a noun that means "The ability to foresee or prepare wisely for the future." When
THURAKU MENTALITY: THE WOODEN AXE THAT CUTS DOWN THE FOREST. I hear some folk say that the economy is not bad; I hear them say that it is Kenyans that are not entrepreneurial. My friend the economy is in the toilet, UhuRuto regime has overseen looting and mismanagement of the economy. It has sponsored the stealing of state coffers; it is a heartless regime buoyed to power by tribalism. I never voted for it, in fact, I publicly campaigned against it to a point that some very "good" friends blocked me for going against the grain in Meru and the Mt Kenya region. Now in Meru town and Makutano, 60% of tenants have defaulted on rent for their shops and businesses for 3-6 months!, Landlords to have defaulted on bank and Sacco loans, I am on the ground and I know firsthand as a stakeholder in this sector. I hope Kenyans will learn not to vote for their leaders based on tribe/clan basis, right now the poverty decimating the Kenyan Central province is is tear jerkin, in Murang'a

A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF CORRUPTION IN KENYA AND HONDURAS As I watched Mwambia's Exposé on Citizen TV, it surprised me that Kenyans were hypocritical enough to appear surprised and worried. A majority of us have known for a long time that some elements in the police and military are corrupt, unpatriotic and dirty, they are involved in cattle rustling to sustain their interests in the beef/butchery industry, constant tribal clashes in North Rift, Upper Eastern and North Eastern Kenya, they are stakeholders in drug trafficking, poaching of endangered animals, arms trade, election rigging, and are key stakeholders in assassination and murder industry. It is apparent the Kenyan elite is taking good notes (and even using soft-copy notes) on how to perfect the art and science of destroying a country via blatant looting and stealing of state coffers, impoverishing the masses and being patron saints to poverty. Politicians steal ⅓ of Kenya's annual budget, in Honduras, their politician

MY LESSONS FROM PERSONAL FAILURE I vividly recall this dark day, I was walking out of a serious grilling by a panel of top Kenyan researchers. It was on 20th September 2018. The venue is National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (NaCoSTI ), I was one of the 8 candidates in Kenya that were fortunate to have been shortlisted for the four Research Officer vacancies at the prestigious institution. Long story short is that I failed the interview flat, I wasn't prepared at all for such an interview, with just my undergraduate degree I was competing with two guys with Master's degrees and one was even a PhD candidate!. I have never been so blank in my life; we started off with a data analysis practical exam; I failed it flat; I didn't know/and still don't know how to use statistical software to view and manipulate data, in the oral phase of the interview I really tried but I knew my fate was already sealed and the goose was already cooked, no miracle by whic

SUMMOUNTING NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES I took these photos back in 2008 in Vanga, when I was a student at Kenyatta University. In 2009, just after graduating was lucky to be shortlisted for an interview by EAPHLN ( east African public health laboratory networks), so that time I was jobless and had little savings from a Sukuma wiki farm I was looking after. So I hopped on the first bus out of Meru and after 12 hours landed in Malindi. The next day I reported to the Malindi District Hospital ready to kill the interview. They called me into the room, walked in with a three-piece suit I had borrowed. The heat was too much; I was sweating like a pig, but I had to appear well dressed to get more points. The room had five top scientists who looked like they've never smiled in their lives. One had a foreign accent that flew over my head......long story short, I failed the interview flat. I was not prepared at all, I never knew how to tackle questions like " tell us about yourself ",

THERE IS NO PROGRESS WITHOUT STRUGGLE The photo is of everything I owned back in 2009 when I was around 28 years of age mean everything I owned in my life, some of ya'll at 28 have blue Subaru's, me nilikuwa na Meko, bed ya 3*6, emaciated mattress and just hope & dreams. I joined university aged around 25 years old; I was the third oldest student in our class. When I received the letter to join K.U I was elated, I had saved up some money,I knew that this was a golden opportunity to change my life's destiny. I reported to K.U...but I realised that I would have to share a hostel room with 3 other strangers who were barely 18 years old, liwe liwalo I will not blow up this opportunity...but these kids would soon force me to look for accommodation outside the university in a town known as Ruiru, the reason is that they would bring girls and even prostitutes and do their business as I watched didn't migrate from the bundu Meru was to watch porn in Nairobi...I moved out!

IS THE BIBLE IMPERFECT & FLAWED?!. I have been reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelations; I am like 90% done...and I will re-read it again and again. The Bible (contrary to popular belief) is a human story, it is a mural of human imperfection; it is a painting of the flaws of human beings through history-via the lens of the Hebrews (in the old testament), and also through the lens of Jesus and thereafter the apostles who took the teachings of Jesus (and God's love) to Europe. In the Bible (90% of the old testament) there is racism, discrimination, murder, infanticide, genocide, slavery, coitus interruptus, wars, famine, floods, contact with extraterrestrials, stories of races of giants, rape, incest, there is even a prophet called Hosea who was forced by GOD to marry a prostitute..................etc. The turning point of the human story in the Bible happens in the book of Isaiah, where there is a promise of a prince of peace, a prince who will save humans and redeem them

I WILL GLADLY MARRY & IMPREGNATE MY COUSIN This is a long post that your short attention span will not allow you to read...if you have the attention span of an amoeba, scroll on. Here are the reasons I would marry (and thoroughly/seriously impregnate) my cousins. 1. In the Holy Bible Abraham married his niece called Milcah in Gen 11:29, GOD ordered cousins to get married to each other in Numbers 36:1-11, cousins married in Joshua 15:16-17, Jacob married his two cousins Leah and Rebecca in Genesis 29:16-28... there are over 13 examples of cousin marriage in the Bible. 2. Marrying your cousin is not illegal in Kenya as per the Justice James Makau ruling on the Sexual Offences Act, click this link to read more on the ruling, https://www.the-star.co.ke/.../2016-08-11-no-law-allows.../ that protected cousin marriage prevalent among Kenyan-Arabs, Kenyan-Asians, and some Oromo and Somali clans. Quick Facts: In Sudan and Mauritania over 50% of marriages involve first cousins, 20%-50% in

The sisal rope on my neck is my salvation from this life, A life that has had me reeling in excruciating spasms, A life that has had me cry out to a deaf God, A deaf God who has refused to snuff out my dying ember, Prayers and tears to a cruel & sadistic deity (who punishes me with this pain and cancer) are unanswered, The tumours are multiplying in my lungs, I am barely grasping onto this pathetic existence, The air I breathe out is caustic, for instance, My bones are plastic from the antineoplastics, , The metastasis has me coughing up stuff that's outright disgusting. My hair is falling out, My bones through my scaly skin are crying out, The doctors told me these medicines would make me better, But these motherfuckers lied. These poisons are making me bitter, The food is tasteless, the money in the bank is useless, The oncologists staged my cancer at 4. Now my life is meaningless, The only purpose I got left is to tell you to eat right, Take care of your family and have re

CODE BLACK!..NOT THE TELEVISION SERIES. Yesterday, Meru county lost a formidable striker by the name of Denis Dos Santos. What makes this post hard to write is that the system killed him, I will explain in English how this happened, and also the lessons we as a society should take home at the end of this read. At 7:11pm, Wyclef Muthomi called me, I could tell by the tone of his voice that something was amiss, he told me that Dos Santos needed emergency medical care because of a horrific road traffic accident. So Wyclef drove like an Indian taxi driver to Meru Teaching & Referral Hospital. They carried Dos Santos into the crowded emergency wing where they were told there was no doctor to serve them and save the young man who was coughing up blood, at 8:13pm Wyclef called me in a shaky voice and told me that no doctor was in the vicinity but the visibly overworked nurse was frantically trying to help, it was apparent that Dos Santos was not okay; Wyclef has worked for the Red Cros

PASSION OVER PESOS: DEBUNKING THE MYTHS OF ''I WANT TO BE A DOCTOR BLAH BLAH BLAH.....'' I see many top-performing students saying that they want to be not only normal Medical Officers but ultra-specialized Medical Doctors like Paediatric Surgeons, Gynaecological Oncologists..etc. #mwobobiasroundup  will always tell you the truth regarding matters of career choices and career progression. After the IMF grabbed the government by the testicles and nipples, the government has cut costs, these costs include forcing workers to pay for their own pension (the controversial civil servants' superannuation pension scheme) which will run out about 3 years after retirement, freeze employment, halt salary increments and reduce allowances to the bare skeleton to ensure you pay taxes, go to work and pay your blue Subaru loans. Being a Medical Officer, Dental Surgeon and Pharmacist was cool, in fact, a union known as KMPDU ensured Doctors got the best salaries, and true to that K
